Denny's

Terrible. The waiter was unfriendly, to the point we felt like our presence was a bother. We ordered Grand Slams and a soda. My husband fun shed his soda, before the meal came, waiter came by to offer another soda, and then toddled off to parts unknown. After about 15 more minutes, he comes back, dumps our food and leaves. We have no silverware, no soda and our food was so cold, the butter wouldn't melt, the sausage was congealed, bacon was rock hard and eggs could've been used as a drain stopper they were so rubbery. Finally, a busboy comes by and says there is no Coke. Not our waiter, he sends the busboy. Blanca the Manager was very nice, and removed the items from our bill, but that didn't help we lost 45 minutes and still no breakfast.

Service like most places depends on who is waiting on you. The older more experienced ones are usually the best and most consistent. Denny's is best with breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not so good since they took all the good more healthy choices off the menu several years ago. My one complaint for this Denny's is, why do you have handicap parking in the rear and not have access in the rear? You are not in compliance if you make them go all the way around to the front, and defeat the purpose of accessibility!

I have enjoyed breakfast here several times over the past month. Each time the service has been excellent. Waiter named Junior is warm, friendly, and provides outstanding speedy service. I feel like I am part of their family. Waitress Araceli is also outstanding in the service she provides. I look forward to enjoying breakfast or lunch there any time, as I feel their service, food, and friendly manner brightens up my day.

Was pleasantly surprised this evening by all the good changes. It's been a while since I've been here. But tonight my niece n I decided to go. The service was great. Greeted with smiles the server was on point with our orders didn't forget a thing. He even remember the shake I wanted b4 we left. The food was the best I've ever has it there. And the wait time.... what wait time within 15 min (if that long) we had our food. And it was cooked perfectly. Wonderful experience this evening.

Long wait..staff is not attentive.. waited over 45 minutes for food but walked out and just went to the moorpark one

Always crowded, hard to enjoy there place normally because staff is always too busy to give 100%attention to anyone. Mgmt should staff more people imo

Open 24 hours, waitresses are friendly. Located in plaza with hotel. Spacious dining room, usually with quiet seating areas.

Nice place to think about business. Prices are reasonable I would say. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.

Quick service and friendly staff! The menu is full of options for whatever your craving! The dining area is very well maintained. Overall, a great Denny's to come to! Come give it a try if your looking for a quick bite!

Two pancakes and coffee ran $10 with tip. Service was mediocre, coffee was good but way over priced, pancakes were fair. When coffee is twice the cost of pancakes you have to wonder about pricing. I might go back if there's nothing else available.

Ended up there for Thanksgiving. They staff was really helpful though they apparently no longer have an open faced turkey sandwich. I like Denny's as a fall back eatery.

This restraunt is hit or mess depending who is serving you and who is cooking. Had both good and bad breakfast here

Everything is great, got the build grand slam with iced coffee and all bacon. Have no complaints, sever did a great job.

Waited almost an hour for our food. 3 parties that came after us were served before us. Not one did they waited ask us if we were fine or needed anything else. Had to keep reminding them of food we were missing like our toast and pancakes.

You should go there for breakfast pancakes are great. First time. I ordered a coffee was this morning. It was terrible. Then they charged me $5 for 1/2 cup of coffee told the guy that it was terrible coffee. He refused to take it off my bill. So that's fine. That's why I'm posting this review because customer service is everything and it's not there. No one would even come to my tables asked how I was doing or wanted to help me. Terrible service terrible coffee just because I wasn't dressed like I normally am in a suit. I was treated differently. I don't want to go there anymore.

Had the lumberjacks breakfast and it was good. The staff were awesome. Got a seat right away and food came out quick. Good place for breakfast.

Waited to be seated 15 to 20 mins, that's ok once we were seated we emphasized we are ready to order we know the menu!! Waited 15 mins more for our order to be taken once that was done waited for at least 25 mins more only to get cold and incomplete food. We have to leave and went to an IHOP, down the road, what a difference in service. Never going back to this denny's super bad service experience...

Slow night. Food was good. The staff was courteous.

Great food. Not too far from Port Hueneme base. We were immediately seated and orders taken. Staff were super friendly.

Our server disappeared half way through our meal without a word. Nobody else working there had any clue of what happened because it took them 20 minutes to figure out whose food was sitting there getting cold and bring half of it to us. 5 minutes later, the other half showed up. Pancakes were cold. I asked for fried eggs and got over easy. Just a bad time at dennys today. Hopefully they were just having a bad day?

This is the cleanest Denny’s I’ve ever been too! Excellent management! I’m a clean freak! Spotless floors. PleaE Just don’t give beat up coffee cups. Throw them away when the get chipped and worn. :)

I remember when you could go to Denny's and it wasnt that bad . Today was not that day, I was grateful that it was open but the food was not what I remember. The portions were very small, I think the kids that were there received more on there plates then I did. I left there still hungry and as far as going again will probably not be in my future.

The food was so savory. Service is typically above par. This place has a cool atmosphere.

I called to place an order around 9 am and I'm not sure if your phone is not working right or something but I repeated the order to the female who answered the phone MULTIPLE times, MULTIPLE. Around 7 times, and she just wouldn't understand. I had to change my order because I didn't wanna risk getting my order wrong. I asked if you guys by any chance had vegan milk or soy milk and she said "milk on the side, got it". I let her know my boyfriend was allergic to milk and she kept asking if I wanted the milk on the side. I wasn't going to risk getting my order wrong. I got there, just to find out my order was WRONG and my fries were COLD. I really disliked this experience.

This particular Denny's worked very hard, was very courteous, the food was not over cooked and was plentiful.... Very busy. Even the patrons seemed friendly, the after Church crowd

Great service, and I love the fit Breakfast.

Worst experience ever! Waited 10 minutes to be seated and then an additional 10 to get served water. We waited even 10 more to get our order in and over half an hour for our food that never got there since our server went on break and the other servers were just gossiping. We walked out and don't recommend anyone coming here!

I like it here since i come once per week or 1 once per 2 weeks. The food is great but the chicken felt like rubber. But everthing else was/is great.

It was actually very good. From past experience I wasn't really up for Dennys but I'm glad I went was very well taken care of and meal was great.

Denny's is always great to take family and friends too. And when going on a trip you can always trust Denny's as a safe place to eat and to camp in your car overnight. Love Denny's.

Love there breakfast, and the service good.

Delicious. Except the blueberries in the pancakes were hard and the strawberries were sour, so I put a little more butter and syrup on them. Also, they should give more hashbrowns and fries with the price your paying. Overall, Denny's is still good.

came to order early morning $8 breakfast special with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, and hash brown. Everything tasted delicious with quick and fast service. the place is clean too.

Chorizo skillet is recommended. Staff was great, service is fast.
